From Student Handbook:


Nespelem School Child Find continues to be open to the public at the Nespelem School in the resource room from 8:00 to 2:00. The screening is available for any child that resides within the Nespelem school district whether or not they are enrolled in school. A parent/guardian, teacher or other involved adult who has concerns regarding any Educational needs or suspects a disability may complete a referral form. Please contact Terrie Sanger, Special Education Teacher/Director for any further questions at 634-4541 ex. 20.

Public Participation

Public Participation (WAC 392-172-588) The district welcomes public participation and input regarding the planning and operating of the district’s special education program. Any application and any required policies, procedures, evaluations, plans and reports relating to the district’s special education program are available for public review and comment through Nespelem School.
