Did you visit our school during Native American Week (9/20-9/23)?
If you did, chances are you enjoyed great company, fantastic food, and good conversation. And one of the main events were the many speakers who gave of their time to share dreams, expectations, and goals with our students. To these people, we thank you:
Terri from Fish and Wildlife
Myrtle Ethel Jack
Raynee St. Pierre
If I have missed anyone or misspelled your name, I apologize. Yet, we thank you so much for the words of wisdom you have shared with the students and staff at Nespelem School.
Thank you also to Terrie Sanger and Nancy Jean Armstrong-Montes for organizing a fantastic and full Native American Week (9/20-9/23).
Vel and Dee helped tremendously with an Elder Breakfast and Family Lunch. Sue Palmer's frybread filled us with joy.
The entire staff helped in some way. Let's do this again next year -- keep the week open!
